Owner/Examiner
David Sorenson
David retired as a lieutenant with the Virginia Beach Police Department in April 2020. He served for twenty-five years, holding assignments in Internal Affairs, SWAT Team, Law Enforcement Training Academy, Detective Bureau and four police precincts.
David graduated from Old Dominion University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice. He earned a Masters in Public Administration from Troy University in 2008.
David’s polygraph experience began when he graduated from the Virginia School of Polygraph in 2004. He continued his education by attending workshops and seminars from 2004 until present. In 2018, David completed the Basic Post Conviction Sex Offending Testing. He was the Polygraph Program Director at the Virginia Beach Police Department until his retirement.
David is a current member of the American Polygraph Association and the Northwest Polygraph Examiners Association.
David now calls Olympia, Washington his home. He primarily conducts polygraph examinations for clients in Thurston and its surrounding counties.
